Medellín, Ant. (December 1, 2010) – Organizers of TEDx Medellìn have confirmed December 7,2010, as the date for a local livestream version of the TEDWomen conference. The independently produced event, operated under license from TED, will be held at Building 18, conference room 515, Eafit University.
On December 7 and 8, 2010, TEDWomen will gather 500 global thought leaders, innovators and storytellers in Washington, DC, to watch enlightening speakers and connect with a global community of women and men. The cross-disciplinary, croos-generational program will focus on how women think and work, communicate and collaborate, learn and lead. The program will explore what this means and why it matters to all of us.
TED was founded in 1984; the acronym stands for technology, Entertainment, Design. The annual TED conference brings together some of the world`s most fascinating thinkers and doers. IN the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED created a program called TEDx where x= independently organized.
